Hey Ron Paul....Time Is Up!

Come on Dr. Paul, it's been time to quit since before you started. Spreading conspiracy theories and rhetoric laced with hate and tiny specks of truth isn't going to do it. Putting an "R" behind your name this time isn't going to do any good either. The "R" stands for Republican, not Radical.

Ralph Nader and Ross Perot found out that most of America is not extreme. Most Americans are not extreme liberal, extreme conservative, or extreme Libertarian. The majority of our country votes down the middle, some being Democrats, some being Republicans. But down the middle.

On Super Tuesday you finished dead last. You were even beaten in California by a candidate who was no longer running. You have not been close anywhere, not even in the ballpark.

Some possible contenders have already dropped out. Mitt Romney unselfishly bowed out for the good of the Republican Party. John Edwards, Rudy Guilliani, and Fred Thompson understood that they didn't have the support needed to win. Some of them even had more total votes and delegates than you did....even without Super Tuesday. These men aren't quitters, they just have the class to know when to exit gracefully.

I appreciate that you really believe what you believe. I even agree with you on some issues. I have enjoyed the entertainment you have provided for us. But at this point, it is only your "Blimp" sized ego and twisted rhetoric keeping you in it.

Come on, Ron.......it's time to grow up.

Super Bowl 2008....Breaking Records

The New York Giants beat the previously undefeated New England Patriots 17-14 at Arizona Cardinals Stadium, spoiling the Pat's chances at a perfect season. With a television audience of 97.5 million viewers, it was the most watched Super Bowl ever.....and also possibly the best.

Only the final episode of "MASH" in 1982, with 106 million viewers, can boast a larger audience when it comes to TV in America.

This is good news for the NFL, football, and television. Viewers were up 5% this year with an average of 15.8 million viewers per game league wide, according to the Associated Press.

Now I don't want to rain on your parade NFL, but if you look at the big picture, you are far from being Numero Uno. Soccer (football to the rest of the world) occupies that spot, and probably always will.

World Cup 2006 in Germany was televised on 376 different channels all over the world. There were 26.3 billion viewers for the tournament. The finals drew 715.1 million viewers for that one game.

The only way the NFL can ever compete with soccer is to go global. And they have been trying to do that now for awhile, without much luck. Almost everywhere on earth except in the US, soccer is king.

The reason NFL football is having trouble outside our borders is because of the pace and length of the game. The average NFL game can run anywhere from 2-1/2 hours to 4 hours in length. In American football each player only plays 5 minutes or less in a 60 minute game that takes up to 4 hours to complete. Compared to soccer, where each player plays 90 minutes with only a short halftime break. No timeouts, no comercial breaks, a total of 3 substitutes per game, and the game last 90 minutes. To someone used to watching this flowing, non stop, continuous action...NFL is s l o w.

The World Cup 2006 tournament games, excluding the finals, averaged 1.7 million viewers in the US. The 16.9 million american viewers for the finals was an increase of 152% from the 2002 World Cup. There are 3.2 million youth soccer players in the US now, making it the most popular participation sport in our country. PopWarner says they have 380,000 participants, lagging way behind soccer in popularity.

Living in North Alabama, American football is in my blood. I played several years of organized football in my childhood, and year 'round in the neighborhood. But after coaching soccer for 23 years now, football is getting harder to watch.

The NFL is here to stay. But it looks like they are facing a difficult task globally. Outside of this country, American football is seen as a novelty. It is going to be hard to sell a slow moving, stop and go, 3 hour plus game.

The 2006 Super Bowl was a great game. But man, was it slow.

Here We Go Again

Here we go again. Florida…..politics…..and the courts.

Florida’s Democratic Party made the decision to move their primary date even though they knew it would cost them their delegates at the Democratic Convention. Michigan has done the same thing, deciding they could do as they please too.

Enter Hillary Clinton. After taking 50% of the Democratic vote in Florida, all of a sudden she thinks that Florida’s delegates should be heard, she thinks they should have their delegates reinstated. Hillary wasn’t worried about the voters of Florida until she won. Of course the Democrats always change the rules in the middle of the game if the rules don’t suit them.

Remember the embarrassment that Al Gore caused our nation? After he lost in Florida, fair and square, he decided that people sitting around tables peering at ballots should divine the intent of the voter. Al Gore didn’t think the voters were smart enough to cast a vote without his help. After all was said and done, any way you counted the ballots….Al Gore lost. The Democrats still owe our nation and the voters of Florida an apology, but don’t hold your breath.

Remember the corrupt New Jersey election scandal in 2002? Democratic Senator Robert Torricelli was admonished by the Senate ethics committee for taking gifts from David Chang for his intervention in business deals in North and South Korea. Scandal plagued Senator Torricelli was trailing in the polls to Republican candidate Douglas Forrester by double digits just weeks before the election. It was obvious with all the mounting troubles of Torricelli and his position in the polls that he could not win. The Democrats held a one vote lead in the Senate, a Republican win would put them in a minority. The Democratic solution? Have Torricelli pull out of the race and replace him with someone who could win. The problem was that New Jersey law says candidates cannot be replaced less than 51 days before the election. That didn’t stop the Democrats, they went to court! The unethical New Jersey Supreme Court ruled that voters should have a choice, that 51 days didn‘t really mean 51 days. The voters of New Jersey already had a choice, vote for Forrester or Torricelli. They cheated again, changing the rules in the middle of the game to suit their situation. This is the Democrat’s way of doing business. In their opinion, laws and ethics only apply to Republicans.

Being a Democrat, I am sure Hillary will be able to skirt the law again. Nobody does that better than the Clintons.

AOL Needs To Be Run Out Of Business

Last week a robbery happened. It was a very clever crime, committed by a very devious and vile organized crime group. I didn’t discover the crime until three days later. It was too late to undo the damage.

Who committed this crime?

AOL and Time Warner.

They stole money from me, and I don’t even have AOL. If you have AOL, or if you have ever had AOL, pay attention. You could be next.

I had AOL dial-up service early last year. I called AOL (in the past this was the only way to cancel service). After quite a lengthy word battle with the service rep, who could not comprehend the concept that I did not want AOL, my service was cancelled. I went online and cancelled also, just to be sure. Problem solved (or so I thought).

Last week AOL billed my checking account for $32.90 (their outrageous monthly fee for poor quality service). Since I am disabled and not working, this caused two checks to bounce. My bank notified me about the overdraft and told me AOL had billed my account. The battle had begun.

I called AOL to get the problem fixed. After a 10 minute wait, a polite young lady informed me that they had billed me for my AOL service. I told her that I had cancelled my service last July, and needed to have the $32,90 credited back to my account along with the $66.00 to cover the overdraft charges. She said they could not refund the money because I had AOL service and had to pay for it. After another futile five minutes I asked to speak to her supervisor. He happened to be a Pakistani man named Mark Anderson. Anderson, I thought, was an odd name for anyone from Pakistan. He rudely informed me that my account was still in effect. I asked why I had not been billed for six months, and he tells me that my free AOL that came on my Dell computer was activated because the free period was up. After 15 minutes of vigorous discussion he says he will credit my account for $32.90, but he was unable to pay the overdraft charges AOL had caused. He informs me that it “impossible” for him to pay for the overdraft because that was the banks fault…..What??? The banks fault?

I spent over two hours talking to two more service reps and two more managers. Again, the managers were Pakistanis. One was named Jim Anderson, the other was Bill Anderson. There must be some sort of Anderson revolution going on there.

After doing some research I found some interesting facts about AOL and Time Warner.

1.) I was not the only one who got screwed by AOL. They lost two million customers last year alone.

AOL and Time Warner have been lying and stealing from their customers since their inception. If you have AOL, cancel NOW! Please cancel before you get screwed! You can cancel AOL by going online at cancel.aol.com, or call 1-888-265-8008.

I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and filed a complaint with the State Attorney General of Alabama. I will write again to keep you informed on how the complaints are going.

If every single person who uses AOL would cancel TODAY, we could put AOL out of business. Now, wouldn’t that be nice!

**********Update January 31, 2008**********

Today AOL called. I was told that the $32.90 I was billed for August 2007, after I cancelled in July 2007, would be refunded if I would settle and clear up the complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I informed the gentleman that they bounced two checks costing me $66.00 that they still refused to cover. He said that the refunding of August 2007 payment would be all they could do......

I guess we decided to split it down the middle. The January 2008 billing that started all of this has shown back up in my account. AOL says it will credit another $32.90 for the August 2007 bill, the one after the July cancellation. I guess AOL has refunded all of the money they took unethically. I am still out $66.00.... a lesson to everyone out there on AOL paid service, there is a risk for using AOL.

1% Effective

I want a president who gets things done. I want a president who shows great leadership, a president who can work with the legislature and the American people to get things acomplished. A president who can lead this country.

It is impossible to research everything every Presidential candidate says. They are ALL extremely effective in stretching the truth, taking credit where credit is not due, deflecting the truth and telling you what you want to hear. They can morph from one personna to another in the blink of an eye. How can you tell what a candidate is really all about? Who can get the job done? Who really stands for what?

Look at their record.

The biggest problem with Ron Paul's record is his complete ineffectiveness as a Congressman. During the 107th, 108th, 109th, and 110th Congress (the info is from his Congressional website: http://www.house.gov/paul/)he proposed 286 bills. He was only able to get 3 bills passed, an effective percentage of 1.04%. Thats right, only 1% of his bills passed.

To add to his 3 bills passed, Ron Paul also had 15 bills rejected. The recorded vote against these 15 bills was an astonishing 4782 no to 1081 yes! His rejected bills were voted against by 77% of Congress.

One of Ron Pauls favorite subjects is taxes. Of the 286 bills he has sponsored, a full 30% of them pertain to taxes. He proposes to abolish income taxes, then follow with a bill to give a tax break to different special interest groups. If all members of Congress had followed the example of Ron Paul, there would be 46,010 different tax proposals and exemptions for Congress to deal with. An astounding 93.7% of his bills are floundering in committee. These excesses are a real burden to Congress.

Just to give a contrast to Dr. Pauls record, I looked up the record of another fellow Texas Representitive, Democrat Sheila Jackson-Lee.

Ms. Jackson-Lee is known for her arrogance and missuse of tax payers dollars. She was able to get 19 bills passes in one session of Congress. Even though she is known to be difficult and a bit eccentric, she was 28.8% effective. No way she could be president, but she was 28 times more effective at her job than Ron Paul.

Presidents require leadership! Leadership requires that you set a course that others can and will follow. You must be able to be get things done. You must be able to work well with others.

3 Lives Go Up In Flames...Why?

Last August 15th I woke about 5:00 AM and sipped coffee with my wife as she turned on the local morning news. They were reporting a fire... 2 people had died in the flaming house. Not a good start to anyones day. I watched the "live" reporter as she said the fire was at the corner of Stormy Drive and......

I noticed Jerry's house....I looked outside to find 4 news satellite trucks parked in my front yard. My wife and I hurried out the door and noticed the ambulance, 2 fire trucks, 4 or 5 police and sheriffs cruisers and concerned neighbors. The flames were mostly out now, the deputies were stringing the yellow crime scene banners around the house.

The talk was, 2 dead. That was all at this time.

Jerry Fredrichs was an odd neighbor, kind of a sad fellow. He lived with his 84 year old mother and his mentally challenged sister. His mother had broken her hip recently and would have been unable to get out of the bed to save herself. Jerry's sister needed daily care, not probable she could have made it out on her own. But what about Jerry?

Tight lipped autorities would release no names, no information at this time.

Noon. Local news reported that Jerry's mother and sister had indeed died in the the fire that morning....and Jerry Fredrichs was being held on 2 counts of murder!

Jerry was a quit man in his sixties, friendly, courteous, a good neighbor. But he was always rather odd. He would talk a blue streak if given a chance, not wanting to let go of the conversation. He would talk about anything, just to have someone to talk too. Some of the girls on our street were spooked by him, a couple of the younger mothers claimed he would watch through their windows. I always thought he was lonely.

According to the Sheriff's report, Jerry set the fire around 3:00 that morning. When they arrived Jerry was sitting on the front porch steps, the house fully engulfed a few short feet behind him. They tried to talk him off the porch but he wasn't having any of it. The raging fire eventually drove Jerry from his porch and to the waiting deputies. He was driven away while his house burnt behind them.

What could happen to drive anyone to this? I have no answers, doubt I ever will.

Godspeed to your mother and sister, Jerry. And I hope, as bizzare as it sounds, that some of your pain is gone too.

THEY Love This War!

"They love this war!"

An irresponsible and childish quote from Nancy Pelosi. But then, when referencing Speaker Pelosi, I have come to expect irresponsible and childish.

If this were not enough, it is blatently dishonest too. You see, when Ms. Pelosi says "they", she is refering to the Republicans who "love this war!". In one broad sweep of the brush Speaker Pelosi paints all Republicans as evil lovers of war.

But don't take Nancy's word for it, stop and think for yourself.... who does this war benefit.... politically?

Does it benefit the evil "they" Republicans? I can't believe the Republicans enjoy being beaten over the head day in and day out about the war in Iraq. I think the Iraq war is a problem for the Republicans. I don't believe this war benefits them politically in any way.

Or

Does it benefit the Democrats? Without their opposition to this war, they have no issues. This war is all they have. Ms. Pelosi's "they" must be the Democrats!

Speaker Pelosi, you should be ashamed of yourself! You need to understand, you were not elected by America, and you do not speak for America as you like to make believe. You were elected by and speak for San Francisco.

And that, Ms. Pelosi, is not America.

The Big Gamble!

I've considered it a big gamble from the begining. I didn't think they would gamble on being able to skirt the law......at least not this long.

Here is how the script was supposed to go:

Hillary Clinton would run for President of the United States, there wouldn't be much compitition out there. Who else among the Democrats could raise enough money? Who else among the Democrats would dare to stand up against the powerful Clinton political machine? Who else among the Democrats could?

Because she is female, Hillary would get the womens vote. (I can't imagine why?)

If she backed Governor Spitzer's plan to give drivers licenses to illegal aliens, she would get the Hispanic vote. She kind of half-assed tried that approach. (A definite possibility. Besides, she isn't worried about terrorism anyway.)

If she flip flopped on the war in Iran, she would get the all Democratic vote anyway. (Absolutely, what other issue do they have?)

So where is the gamble you ask?

The gamble is in giving Hillary the Democratic nomination. She has barely kept her head above water so far, and the real race hasn't even started. She hasn't faced a single Republican yet. But when she does, she had better hope she can get Wolf Blitzers help again. Any real, unplanted, unrehearsed, ligimate question will surely sink her. Does she expect that nobody will ask why she is on tape commiting election fraud? (A felony) Does she think for a minute that Sandy Berger's name will be overlooked, most people consider him a traitor for stealing documents and covering up the Clinton's involvement in the 9-11 hearings. She can't keep track of documents and was caught stealing from the White House. She accepts hundreds of thousands of dollars from known felons, and she doesn't know? But she did offer to give it back ($23K). Then she was asked to give it all back! ($200K+) But she didn't know? A conveniently short memory.

If any of the other Democratic candidates have even half a chance, why would you gamble on Hillary Clinton being able to pass the smell test? I don't think she can when the compitition get real. To give her the nomination, and then have her charged with multiple felonies? It would create a cake walk for the Republicans!

Besides, what if people found out what she is really like?

She's At It Again!

I really want to know....is anyone buying the latest lies from the Hillary Clinton camp?

I really want to know if the Democrats are stupid enough to believe that poor Hillary didn't know she had questions planted in the audience? And what luck!!! Out of all those people, she just happened to choose the plant!!! But rest assured (says the Clinton camp) it won't happen again!! Sure, at least until next time you are caught.

I am beginning to believe that Hillary is not only a chronic liar and master manipulator, she must also be the most stupid candidate to ever run for President. She is either too stupid to know any of what is going on around her (her claim, not mine)....
OR
Hillary is just determined to lie to the American people about all things, at all times (my claim, not hers).

What could she possibly have in store for us that she is not able to be honest about it?

She can't run on her experience (what experience? her only experience is buying her Senate seat), she can't run on her record (lies, convicted felons, subverted justice, more lies), and she can't run on her ideas if she has to lie to the people about it?

Democrats...WAKE UP! It is you she is embarassing! It is you that she is lying to, it is you that she is playing for a fool! She can't play me, I don't listen to her scripted lies.

She is the second best liar around, but believe me Hillary....you are no Bill Clinton!

Leadership...It's Not Supposed To Be Easy

I don't think the average American would know what leadership is if it hit them square between the eyes. You would have to remember what leadership is, because frankly, examples of true leadership are getting hard to find.

Leadership is defined by Merriam-Webster Dictionary as follows:

(What a poor definition for such an important concept)

As a soccer coach of 23 years, leadership is something I understand and taught. Leadership is a quality required and cherished in all team athletics. Winning teams have lots of it....losing teams usually lack it.

Since the dictionary definition is so poor, I will further define leadership.

Leadership is setting the example of what should be.... not of what is. Leadership is setting the standards higher for yourself than is required, and sticking to them. Leadership is setting the example for others to follow. Leadership is not easy.

We, as Americans, look to our government for leadership. We must have good leaders in order to flourish and progress as a nation. It's not happening.

Ask yourself these questions, and give yourself honest answers:

1) Would you teach your children to lie any time it is convient? To ignore right and wrong, to blame others for your faults? Would you raise your child with the belief that you should screw everybody around you at all times for your own personal advancement, and if they so much as speak the truth about you, destroy them? Is this the definition of a leader?

Sadly enough, Hillary Clinton is trying to pass this off as leadership. If all Americans followed the "Clinton" (don't forget a lying Bill Clinton shaking his finger at all of America) model of leadership, the dead bodies would be piling up in the streets. It couldn't possibly work. This is not leadership!

2) Would you teach your children to make up any story that suits their purpose? Don't even stretch the truth..... just invent it any way that benefits you. Would you tell your child to commit perjury, to go into a court proceeding and lie your ass off for money?

It's sad to see John Edwards put on his fabricated "I want to help the poor" face when he made his living as a corrupt, dishonest lawyer (with $400 haircuts) for so many years. John slick talked many juries into multi-million dollar awards with falsehoods and made up stories. Another example of someone selling themselves as a leader, when they surely don't walk the walk. America could not survive if all citizens followed this example. This is not leadership!

In order to be a true leader, you must set an example of excellence that would benefit all who follow it.

I hope and pray the American people wake up, get off their lazy butts and demand leadership worthy of our children. Shouldn't our leaders be at least good enough people that we would want our children to be able to follow their example?

Where are our leaders now when we so desperately need them?

Either You Is, Or Either You Ain't!

You AIN'T for giving drivers licenses to undocumented laborers (read: illegal aliens).
Seems like an easy question, lets take a look.....

PROS:
The criminal aliens will be happy.
The criminal aliens will vote for me.
I will be politically correct.

CONS: (Besides Hsu, Paul, Berger, etc.)
Illegal aliens will be able to vote (I wonder who for?)
Illegal aliens will be able to board airplanes (short memory, huh?).
Illegal aliens will have all the privilages of legal citizens, without being legal citizens.

A word of advice Hillary, when you try to straddle the creek, sometimes you fall in!

Ideas Deserve To Be Smashed!

Yes, you heard me right! Certain ideas deserve to be smashed! Yes, right here in the United States of America!

But who's ideas? My ideas? Your ideas?

Excuse me, but I remember a time when college campuses were a bastion for ideas. A time, not that long ago, when we could have ideas, exchange them, and decide for ourselves which ones have merit....and which ones do not.

Now days ideas must follow the politically correct ones dictated to us. Anyone who dares to have an idea of their own MUST BE SQUASHED! They must not be heard!

Hitler had ideas. He made sure that his ideas were the only ones heard. He SQUASHED any idea that did not fall in line with his. The results were devastating. Stalin SQUASHED anyone and any idea that was not his own. Even Charles Manson allowed only his ideas. In an arena of free flowing ideas, none of these monsters could have flourished.

We are heading into a very dangerous area, a path to evil.

Thank God (o my, should I dare have said that?), our forefathers were wise men who saw the writing on the wall. They knew that power hungry vultures would try to impose their ideas on us, by not letting us have ideas of our own. They wrote this nifty little document, The Constitution, to make sure this didn''t happen to us. The law of the land, one that we can all live with. Generations have fought and died for this.

Free ideas are under attack in our country. It's time we citizens realize that we must stand together and FIGHT for our ideas.

Not agreeing with political correctness is our right, no, our duty!

An example: Tulane University College Republicans invited Ann Coulter to speak on "Islamo-Fascism", a subject of life and death to our country at this time in history. Like her or not, she was invited. As an American she has the right to her ideas and the right to speak on the subject. It took 15 police officers along with her own personal body guards to keep the crowd away long enough for to escape safely. Why? She isn't politically correct.

Below is the text (directly from their postings) of the haters who organized an effort to keep Ann's ideas silent. How dare she have an idea that doesn't agree with theirs! I guess they are the only ones who have the right to have ideas. Read for yourself:

The College Republicans at Tulane have invited Ann Coulter to give a lecture on our campus as a part of the nationwide "Islamofascism Week" organized by David Horowitz. She will be speaking at 7pm on Mon., Oct. 22nd, at Tulane's McAlister Auditorium. Join anti-racist and democratic-minded Tulane students in confronting this outrage! Is this event about "Islamofascism" or White Supremacy? Arabs and Muslims are under attack in our country and around the world. The College Republicans and Ann Coulter claim to be concerned about the rise of “Islamofascism”—a category into which they subsume not only the likes of Osama Bin Laden but also legitimate anti-imperialist movements such as in Iraq, the anti-apartheid struggle in Palestine, the Lebanese resistance against Israeli invasion, and countless autonomous and democratic movements of Arabs and Muslims seeking to govern themselves in opposition to the so-called benevolent hand of American empire. Coulter and her ilk even purport to be in the vanguard of defending Muslim women against some sort of feudalistic patriarchy they claim is inherent to Islam. Apparently, Coulter would like to redefine democracy and women’s liberation with an altogether new meaning. Hers is a “democracy” compatible with Israeli apartheid, Zionism, and American empire. Hers is a “liberation” granted by rulers who bomb entire cities and towns; who destroy a country’s infrastructure; who imprison whole populations of people in jails and open-air ghettos; who dismantle families and communities; and who suppress the self-governing instincts and desires of people of color. But we know better. We see Coulter, and her “Islamofascism” claims, exactly for what they are: a thinly veiled white supremacy and support for American empire that calls for the attack, subjugation, and murder of Arabs and Muslims and everyday working folks alike. Coulter’s ideas deserve nothing less than to be confronted and smashed. How is it that Coulter is being welcomed with open arms on our campus? How can such people pretend to have any association with liberty and justice? Their irresponsibility should serve as a stark reminder for anti-racist and democratic-minded people that only our self-organized collective power, expressed through direct action, will successfully defeat these forces and make them a reality only in our history books. I can gather from their text that they are surely the sole voice worthy of being heard. Not one of us that may want to hear an idea other than theirs should have that right. (Note to New Orleans Commitee editors: please strike all references in your text to democratic-minded, democratic movements, liberty, and justice.) Surely "Coulter's ideas deserve nothing less than to be confronted and smashed."

Things I Don't Understand

Congratulations to Al Gore who recently recieved the Nobel Peace Prize for his work on global warming. I don't understand what global warming has to do with world peace, but then I don't understand a lot of things these days.

I don't understand how anyone can sit through the entire movie "An Inconvenient Truth". But at least now, I understand the old saying "About as exciting as watching paint dry."

I don't understand how Al won an Oscar for his movie as a documentary when a good majority of it is pure fiction. You know, the truth never stopped Michael Moore either. Hollywood wouldn't know the truth if it smacked them in the face, or more likely they just don't care. Personally I am glad the earth is warming, otherwise we would be cycling into another Ice Age. I don't think I would like that any more than T-Rex did.

I don't understand how "Green" Al uses as much energy as he wants and explains it away by the purchase of "Green Credits". I don't understand how it is OK to pollute excessively, as long as you have enough money to buy other peoples pollution for your own personal use. I guess we will have to credit Mr. Gore with the invention of fuzzy math, a phenomenom where 2 + 2 = what ever you want it to. I am just a simple man, I thought the answer was 4.

I don't understand how Big Al could miss the part in the Constitution that says the Electoral College shall determine who is elected President. I guess it isn't fair to expect a Presidential Candidate to have ever actually read our Constitution. Besides, I imagine looking at "chads" under a magnifiying glass is actually the most accurate way of "determining a voters intent". How could anyone ever trust us poor, lowly voters to really punch our ballots for the candidate we choose? I am glad Al is looking out for us! (See image above.)

I think I do understand one thing. I understand why Al is not running for President this go-around. If I had spent as much time with the Clintons as Al has, I would not want to risk running against Hillary either. Too many of their friends are either convicted felons, or they become convicted felons. Kind of like the old show "Hart To Hart". All of their friends met horrible fates too.

I want to wish you good luck Al. You are in good company, Jimmy Carter and Yassir Arafat both won the Nobel Peace Prize too. They also had trouble with the truth.

Let's Call A Spade A Spade

Let's start off on the right foot by setting up the ground rules.

To begin with, there will be no political correctness here. I don't listen to B.S. like the manufactured talking points that both the Deomcrats and Republicans use to battle each other, without having to think for themselves. I would like to point out some basic lies that some have used in an efffort to distort the truth.

Lie #1

Undocumented workers are only here to earn a living for their families and we need them. The truth: Undocumented workers are illegal aliens. Illegal aliens are criminals who have tresspassed into our country with no desire to follow our laws.

Lie #2

Al Gore was elected President (obviously he wasn't, he doesn't live at the White House). Why some still stick to this lie as if their lives depend on it, I just can't imagine. The truth: Al won the popular vote, but this country's Constitution states that the Electorial College is the legal and proper method to choose a President. The process worked, but whining Al refused to follow the rules, and true to form he litigated everything he could, costing us tax payers millions of dollars, holding the whole country hostage for his litigous journey. Read the Constitution Al, just take the time and read it.

Lie #3

George Bush is an illigitimate President, he was not elected by the people. Now there are lies, and then there are LIES. Refer to the paragraph above. The truth: George Bush was legally and properly elected as the President of the United States. It doesn't matter how many times you say this lie, or how strong your convictions are, it just isn't true. If you are one of those spreading this unfounded lie, then you obviously are brain dead. Please don't repeat this lie again, it only makes you look stupid and most people are tired of hearing it.

Lie #4

George Bush had the World Trade Center blown up so he could go to war with Iraq.

The truth: Muslim terrorist flew jet airliners into the buildings. If you believe George Bush had anything to do with this, you need medical care. (Are you listening Rosie?)

Lie #5

George Bush lied or mislead us about the WMD's so he could go to war with Iraq (Supposedly to settle a grudge about the supposed assination plot to kill his father.) The truth: Iraq was told to turn over the WMD's or provide documentation to prove it was destroyed. Seventeen times the United Nations approved resolutions requiring cooperation from Iraq and Sadaam Hussein. And seventeen times Sadaam thumbed his nose at the rest of the world. Seventeen (17) times!

Problem solved.

Lie #6

Voters in Florida were disenfranchised. Another fabricated term. The truth: If a voter is not itelligent enough to cast their vote correctly, they are responsible for their vote not counting. This is not a problem with the voting system, but rather a problem of carelessness or stupidity. We can't remedy that.

I could go on forever. The lies explained above were all fabricated by the Democrats. Their answer to free speech (again, these folks need to read the Constitution) is to punish anyone who does not agree with them. Make up lies, tell them with a straight face, tell them over and over until people start to believe them. The Republicans are way behind the Democrats when it comes to lying. They don't play the game near as well.

Some of the people in charge now are absolutely embarassing. Harry Reid comes to mind. Harry is rooting for the terrorists. He says we lost the war in Iraq. He has done nothing for the people who elected him, he is too busy telling lies and trying to personally destroy any Republican he can. That is not what he was elected to do. That is not leadership either. A simple bit of advice for Harry.....remember Tom Dashle?

As long as the American people are willing to settle for the status quo, the politicians will continue to cheat, lie, and steal. It is up to us.....the common people of this great land, to reject this type of B.S. Just don't vote for the mud slingers and their garbage. We don't need them.

We are in trouble, BIG trouble. Hillary Clinton can take illegal contributions from several different convicted felons and just lie her way out of it (Gee!.....I didn't know). Hillary can bring in Sandy Burger for advice (convicted of stealing classified documents to protect Bill Clinton from the 9-11 investigation). Hillary can buy votes from the Jewish comunity with promises not kept (and they are madder than a bunch of hornets). Hillary can "forget" to disclose her role as treasurer of the Clinton family charity, not once, but 5 times (selective memory or Alzheimers?) and she gets away with it. It is hard to believe she is the leading candidate of her party. I am embarrased for them. The Democrats are not embarrased though, all of this is standard operating procedure.

Looks like I will be left voting against a candidate for President, instead of voting for one.......again!
